It took fewer than 100 bids before a John Deere combine became the highest-priced item during an April 12 equipment auction.

The 2019 John Deere S780 2WD combine from Hayes Center, Neb., sold for US$300,500 ($CAD402,006) to a buyer from Kansas after 97 bids.

A 2014 John Deere 8370R tractor from Palmer, Neb., sold for US$210,250 (CAD$281,321) to a buyer from the same state after 232 bids.
