A Case IH combine also squeaked into the top five

Auction attendees took an interest in available Caterpillar as four of them factored into the top five in terms of sale price during the Oct. 30 BigIron auction.

The top item was a 2020 Caterpillar 140 AWD motor grader with ripper from Arapahoe, Colo.

It sold for US$244,500 (CAD$340,893) to a buyer from the same state after 300 bids.

This item sold for US$225,750 (CAD$314,764) after 236 bids.

A third 2020 Caterpillar 140 AWD motor grader with ripper sold to a buyer in Colorado.

The buyer of this unit, which sold for US$212,000 (CAD$295,577) to the same buyer who purchased the first motor grader.

A 2017 Case IH 8240 4WD combine from Estelline, S.D., sold for US$140,250 (CAD$195,543) to a buyer from Minnesota after 156 bids.

A 2016 Caterpillar 420F2 IT 4x4 loader backhoe with 4-in-1 bucket & Extendahoe sold for US$101,250 (CAD$141,160) to a buyer from Texas after 187 bids.
