A tractor from 2009 sold for the highest price during an April 9, 2025, BigIron auction.

The 2009 John Deere 8130 tractor from Baileyville, Kan., sold for US$143,000 (CAD$198,994) to a buyer from the same state after 178 bids.

Specs: 2,795 hours, 225 Hp, 6-Cylinder PowerTech Turbocharged Diesel Engine, IVT Transmission, ILS Front Suspension, 540/Small 1000 PTO, Rear PTO, 3-Point W/Quick Hitch, Differential Lock, 380/85R34 Front Tires, 480/80R46 Rear Tire Size, Rear Duals, Front And Rear Fenders, Standard Cloth Seat, ISOBUS Compatible, A/C, Heat, Radio.

The auction saw 1,427 items sold. Here’s the equipment that round out the top five by sale price.

A 2012 John Deere 9460R tractor from Norwich, Kan., sold for US$110,750 (CAD$154,142) to a buyer from Kansas after 208 bids.

A 2020 Hesston WR9980 windrower from Lynch, Neb., sold for US$101,251 (CAD$140,890) to a buyer from South Dakota after 171 bids.
