2026 marks the 25th anniversary of the first Harry Potter film
For fans of the Harry Potter franchise, 2026 marks the 25th anniversary since the release of the first movie, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone in theatres across North America.
An important part of the film occurs at the wizarding school Hogwarts, when all the first-year students put on the magical Sorting Hat.
The hat matches the wearer’s dominant characteristics with one of the school’s four houses – Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin.
Multiple industries are capitalizing on the milestone of the movie franchise.
Tim Horton’s for example, released a line of donuts and drinks related to the movie.
And LEGO ran its Back to Hogwarts promotion which included discounts on themed sets.
That got the team at Farms.com thinking.
What if equipment manufacturers were sorted into Hogwarts houses? Would John Deere’s green make it an easy fit for Slytherin?
As a refresher, the characteristics for each house as defined by the official Harry Potter website are as follows.
