Students Gain Career Access and Industry Networking Opportunities
Students and recent graduates interested in agriculture careers will have a unique opportunity to connect with employers at the 2026 Farm Progress Show through a special Career Crawl program.
The initiative is being organized through a partnership between Farm Progress Show and AgCareers. The event will take place from September 1 to 3, 2026, in Boone, Iowa. Students and recent graduates from agriculture-related degrees or certification programs can register for complimentary admission and take part in activities designed to support career development.
The Career Crawl will allow participants to meet representatives from leading agricultural companies and learn about employment opportunities across the industry. As one of the largest outdoor farm events in the country, the Farm Progress Show provides a valuable setting for students to explore career pathways and build professional connections.
In addition to networking opportunities, participants will receive several career-focused resources. These include access to the AgCareers resume database, allowing students to showcase their qualifications to potential employers. Registrants will also receive a copy of the Food and Agriculture Career Guide and other helpful materials designed to support career planning.
The initiative aims to help students transition from education to employment while giving employers an opportunity to engage with future agricultural professionals.
Companies participating in the Career Crawl will also benefit from added visibility. Exhibitors involved in the program will receive an AgCareers job posting valid through the end of 2026, special on-site signage, and inclusion in the Career Crawl directory featured on the event website and mobile application.
Organizers encourage both students and employers to take advantage of the opportunity to build connections and strengthen the future workforce of the agriculture industry. Student registration is currently open through the Farm Progress Show website.
