Canada marked a major step in agriculture with the groundbreaking of its first low-carbon, enhanced efficiency fertilizer (EEF) and phosphate terminal in the Port of Johnstown, ON; with V6 Agronomy at the lead.
Strategically positioned along the St. Lawrence Seaway, the Port of Johnstown is located 100 kilometres south of Ottawa, 330 kilometres east of Toronto, and 208 kilometres west of Montreal.
This new facility is designed to support Canadian agriculture by improving access to critical crop inputs. It aims to reduce dependency on U.S. imports and build a more resilient, self-reliant supply chain.
