Cereals Canada has released its annual New Wheat Crop Report, offering global and domestic buyers a detailed look at the performance and quality of Canada’s 2025 wheat harvest.
The report outlines key findings on milling characteristics, flour and semolina quality, and how the wheat performs in a range of end-use products.
In total, Canadian growers produced 36.6 million tonnes of wheat in 2025, with most of the crop receiving a No. 1 or No. 2 grade.
In Eastern Canada, winter wheat benefited from favourable conditions throughout the growing season, resulting in strong yields and solid quality. Protein content across wheat classes aligned closely with historical averages.
