The Canadian Agricultural Youth Council has 22 members.
This update introduces nine fresh members alongside thirteen returning youths, marking a significant step towards involving young voices in agricultural decision-making.
Ontario’s representatives are:
- Menilek Beyene, an environmental biology graduate student,
- Alanna Coneybeare, a dairy, poultry and cash crop farmer,
- Omar Elsharkawy, a policy and research specialist, and
- Josiah Mullet Koop, a sixth-generation farmer and Poultry Science Master’s student.
