In August, the Great Ontario Yield Tour found corn yields across the province averaged 178.93 bushels per acre, down from the 10-year average of 186 bpa.
And soybean yields were around 46.61 bpa, about two bushels below the 10-year average.
Southwestern Ontario fared slightly better, with yields above average but far from exceptional. East, North, and South of Highway 19 in Ingersoll, however, the story was much grimmer.
