Jeff Cook, the president and CEO of Mapleview Farms in London, Ont., won the Great Lakes Yield Enhancement Network’s (YEN) award for the highest winter wheat yield for the 2025-26 season.
He achieved a yield of 163.2 bushels per acre.
Great Lakes YEN encourages farmers to use data-driven decisions, advanced crop management practices, and collaboration to improve winter wheat production across the Great Lakes region.
