The provincial government is calling on hunters and farmers to help protect wildlife by participating in its annual Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) surveillance program.
This year's surveillance program will focus on selected areas in Southern and Eastern Ontario.
To encourage participation, the first 500 hunters who submit samples in each surveillance area will receive a commemorative crest and a sample identification card.
The card allows hunters to access test results online approximately six to eight weeks after submission.
