Ontario soybean growers will have another tool available to them for the 2027 growing season.
BASF launched Zidua Prime herbicide to support burndown and residual weed control applications.
The product contains two active ingredients to provide farmers with maximum performance.
“With its multiple modes of action, they are very complementary,” Chris Vander Kant, corn, soybeans & horticulture crop manager with BASF Canada, told Farms.com. “It contains both imazethapyr (Group 2) and pyroxasulfone (Group 15) that provide a broad spectrum of weed control.”
The herbicide is also tank-mix compatible with multiple products like Basagran Forte, Engenia, glyphosate, metribuzin, and more.
