In February, the National Pork Producers Council expressed support for new Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins and her commitment to addressing California’s Prop 12.
During her confirmation hearing, Rollins acknowledged that Prop. 12 affects not just California but also impacts pork producers and farm operations across the country.
She assured the industry that she would work closely with Congress to find solutions that support American hog farmers.
