The National Pork Producers Council has expressed support for newly confirmed U.S. Department of Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, appreciating her commitment to addressing the issues caused by California’s Proposition 12.
During her confirmation hearing, Rollins acknowledged that Prop. 12 affects not just California but also impacts pork producers and farm operations across the country.
She assured the industry that she would work closely with Congress to find solutions that support American hog farmers.
