In North Carolina, for example, Republican incumbent Steve Troxler won his fifth consecutive term as ag commissioner.
The other ag commissioner election occurred in West Virginia.
There, Republican incumbent Kent Leonhardt won his third straight election, defeating Democratic nominee Deborah Stiles.
