An animal welfare organization has taken legal action following a deadly livestock transport crash in Ohio.
Animal Partisan filed a private citizen affidavit in January 2026 over a June 2024 crash on a ramp connecting State Route 49 and Interstate 70.
Reports indicate that between 80 and 100 pigs died because of the crash.
The affidavit relies on police body camera footage obtained by the advocacy group.
