FMC Corporation and Corteva have entered into a co-exclusive strategic supply and licensing agreement aimed at increasing the availability of FMC’s rimisoxafen herbicide technology across North and South America’s corn and soybean markets.
The partnership is expected to provide farmers with a new solution for controlling herbicide-resistant weeds, particularly Amaranthus species, which continue to pose major challenges in soybean and corn production.
Rimisoxafen features a dual mode of action that helps delay herbicide resistance while improving control of weeds such as palmer amaranth and waterhemp.
