Fendt launches its 1100 Vario MT Gen2 Track Tractor, Momentum 80-Foot Planter, and 300 Vario Gen5 at 2026 Farm Progress Show.
Fendt introduced three major equipment additions during the 2026 Farm Progress Show in Boone, Iowa, including the global launches of the 1100 Vario MT Gen2 Track Tractor and Momentum 80-Foot Planter, along with the North American debut of the 300 Vario Gen5 tractor series. The tradeshow takes places September 1-3, 2026.
According to the company, choosing North America as the location for the global launches reflects its continued focus on expanding its presence in the region and growing its full-line equipment portfolio.

The new 1100 Vario MT Gen2 Track Tractor is designed for high-horsepower applications and features a reinforced transmission, VarioDrive transmission technology, and the Fendt iD low-speed operating concept.
The tractor also incorporates SmartRide suspension technology, updated steering features to improve maneuverability, and a redesigned cab featuring the FendtONE operating system. Additional updates include enhanced lighting and a passive cab air-filter cleaning system intended to reduce maintenance requirements in dusty operating conditions.
Fendt also expanded its planter lineup with the introduction of the Momentum 80-Foot, 32-row planter. The company said the model is designed for large-scale producers seeking increased field capacity and efficiency.
Standard features include a 130-bushel seed capacity and a 1,000-gallon fertilizer tank. The planter also incorporates SmartFrame technology, integrated precision planting systems, optional Load Logic weight management, and a five-section Vertically Contouring Toolbar intended to improve planting performance across uneven terrain.

The company also used the show to introduce the 300 Vario Gen5 series to North American customers. The lineup includes five models ranging from 113 to 152 horsepower with DynamicPerformance technology.
Fendt said the tractors are equipped with the FendtONE operating system and can be specified with guidance, ISOBUS, telemetry, and automated headland management features.

The 1100 Vario MT Gen2 and 300 Vario Gen5 are now available to order, with first deliveries expected to begin in 2027. Limited orders for the Momentum 80-Foot Planter are scheduled to open in fall 2026 ahead of planned spring 2027 deliveries.
