Company takes full control of swine genetics unit to drive future growth
Hendrix Genetics has announced that it has taken full ownership of its swine genetics business, marking an important step in the company's long-term growth strategy. The company also announced a leadership change as part of this transition. Effective September 1, 2026, Dennis Jørgensen will serve as Managing Director of the swine activities of Hendrix Genetics. In his new role, he will lead the integrated swine organization and continue developing the combined strengths of the Hypor and Danish Genetics programs. His leadership is expected to support innovation, customer service, and long-term business growth.
As part of the restructuring, Hendrix Genetics Swine will become the Swine Business Unit of Hendrix Genetics. This change officially places the swine operations within the company's broader global organization while maintaining a dedicated focus on serving pork producers and the swine industry.
