A 12-year-old tractor sold for the highest price during a recent auction.

A 2009 JCB 8250 Fastrac MFWD tractor from Copeland, Kan. with 4,565 hours showing sold to a buyer in Washington State for US$68,750 (CAD$87,738) after 251 bids during a Jan. 13 BigIron auction.

Specs: 260 Hp, V-Tronic, Cummins 6 Cylinder Turbo Diesel 8.3L Engine, 42 MPH Max Speed, AC/Heat, Large 1000 PTO, Rear 3 Point, 4 Hydraulic Remotes, Pin Hitch, Front And Rear Dual Caliper ABS Disc Brakes, Rear Trailer Air Supply And Light Connections, Front Fenders, CleanFix Reversible Radiator Fan, Front Tires 540/65R38, Rear Tires 710/70R38, Programmable - Multi Function Joystick, Continuously Variable Transmission With Infinite (Dual Range) Forward And Reverse Gears, Direct Or Automatic Drive, Cloth Operators Heated Seat, Instructional Seat, 1984 Lbs (900kg) Front Weight, Front Axle Suspension, Rear Fender PTO And Three Point Controls.

A 2018 Kinze 3500 8/15 planter from Brownville, Neb., sold to a buyer in Indiana for US$65,250 (CAD$83,282) after 203 bids.

A 1995 John Deere 8300 MFWD tractor from Norfolk, Neb., sold to a buyer from South Dakota for US$45,500 (CAD$58,067) after 146 bids.
