Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending Aug 24, 2018

The week of Aug 20, 2018 saw the price of live cattle end at 106.7. Compared to last week’s ending price of 110.875 the price of live cattle dropped by 3.8%.

The lowest price point for live cattle during the week occurred on Aug 24, 2018 when the price was at 106.7.

In the span of a month, the price of live cattle dropped by 3.3%. At this time last month, live cattle was at 110.325 and have since dropped to 106.7.

Live cattle has also seen price drops since last year. Around this time in 2017, live cattle prices were at 107.325. The change in prices from last year equal a decrease of 0.6%.
