Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending Dec 15, 2017

The price of live cattle as of Friday was 121.025 and last Friday it was at 118.3, meaning the price of live cattle increased by 2.3% in one week.

Dec 15, 2017 saw live cattle see its highest performance at 121.025.

In the span of a month, the price of live cattle dropped by 3.8%. At this time last month, live cattle was at 125.75 and have since dropped to 121.025.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2016, the price was at 99.9. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 21.1%.
