Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending Jan 05, 2018

The week of Jan 01, 2018 saw the price of live cattle end at 119.25. Compared to last week’s ending price of 121.55 the price of live cattle dropped by 1.9%.

The lowest price point for live cattle during the week occurred on Jan 05, 2018 when the price was at 119.25.

In the span of a month, the price of live cattle dropped by 1.1%. At this time last month, live cattle was at 120.525 and have since dropped to 119.25.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2017, the price was at 100. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 19.2%.
