Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending Jan 18, 2019

The price of live cattle as of Friday was 127.375 and last Friday it was at 126.375, meaning the price of live cattle increased by 0.8% in one week.

Jan 16, 2019 saw live cattle see its highest performance at 127.725.

Between Dec 18, 2018 and Jan 18, 2019 the price of live cattle rose by 2.2%. At this time last month, prices for live cattle were at 124.6 and have now jumped to 127.375.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2018, the price was at 115.975. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 9.8%.

Live cattle's best performance came on Dec 28, 2018 when it was at 126.4.
