The week of Jul 24, 2023 saw the price of live cattle end at 179.6. Compared to last week’s ending price of 181.9 the price of live cattle dropped by 1.3%. The lowest price point for live cattle during the week occurred on Jul 27, 2023 when the price was at 179.5. Between Jun 28, 2023 and Jul 28, 2023 the price of live cattle rose by 1.5%. At this time last month, prices for live cattle were at 177.025 and have now jumped to 179.6. Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2022, the price was at 152.75.
