Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending Mar 24, 2017

The price of live cattle as of Friday was 112.85 and last Friday it was at 109.675, meaning the price of live cattle increased by 2.9% in one week.

Mar 22, 2017 saw live cattle see its highest performance at 113.775.

Between Feb 24, 2017 and Mar 24, 2017 the price of live cattle rose by 7.6%. At this time last month, prices for live cattle were at 104.85 and have now jumped to 112.85.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2016, the price was at 110.175. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 2.4%.

Live cattle's best performance came on Feb 17, 2016 when it was at 116.475.
