Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending May 05, 2017

The price of live cattle as of Friday was 128.3 and last Friday it was at 124.025, meaning the price of live cattle increased by 3.4% in one week.

May 04, 2017 saw live cattle see its highest performance at 131.3.

Between Apr 05, 2017 and May 05, 2017 the price of live cattle rose by 17.2%. At this time last month, prices for live cattle were at 109.425 and have now jumped to 128.3.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2016, the price was at 107.975. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 18.8%.

Live cattle's best performance came on Feb 17, 2016 when it was at 116.475.
