Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending May 11, 2018

The week of May 07, 2018 saw the price of live cattle end at 104.425. Compared to last week’s ending price of 105.075 the price of live cattle dropped by 0.6%.

The lowest price point for live cattle during the week occurred on May 09, 2018 when the price was at 103.375.

Between Apr 11, 2018 and May 11, 2018 the price of live cattle rose by 2%. At this time last month, prices for live cattle were at 102.375 and have now jumped to 104.425.

Live cattle has also seen price drops since last year. Around this time in 2017, live cattle prices were at 104.65. The change in prices from last year equal a decrease of 0.2%.
