Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending May 12, 2017

The price of live cattle as of Friday was 121.775 and last Friday it was at 121.175, meaning the price of live cattle increased by 0.5% in one week.

May 08, 2017 saw live cattle see its highest performance at 123.25.

Between Apr 12, 2017 and May 12, 2017 the price of live cattle rose by 10.3%. At this time last month, prices for live cattle were at 110.375 and have now jumped to 121.775.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2016, the price was at 106.475. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 14.4%.
