Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending May 25, 2018

The price of live cattle as of Friday was 102.3 and last Friday it was at 98.225, meaning the price of live cattle increased by 4.1% in one week.

May 23, 2018 saw live cattle see its highest performance at 102.8.

In the span of a month, the price of live cattle dropped by 2.8%. At this time last month, live cattle was at 105.275 and have since dropped to 102.3.

Live cattle has also seen price drops since last year. Around this time in 2017, live cattle prices were at 107.5. The change in prices from last year equal a decrease of 4.8%.
