Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending Nov 04, 2022

The week of Oct 31, 2022 saw the price of live cattle end at 151.65. Compared to last week’s ending price of 153 the price of live cattle dropped by 0.9%.

The lowest price point for live cattle during the week occurred on Nov 02, 2022 when the price was at 151.4.

Between Oct 04, 2022 and Nov 04, 2022 the price of live cattle rose by 2.8%. At this time last month, prices for live cattle were at 147.5 and have now jumped to 151.65.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2021, the price was at 139. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 9.1%.

On Sep 20, 2021, live cattle had its worst day as far as markets go when it was at 133.925.

Live cattle’s total volume for the week was 110645. Its worst performing day came on Nov 04, 2022, when the commodity saw its weekly low of 17102.
