Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending Nov 08, 2019

The week of Nov 04, 2019 saw the price of live cattle end at 119.25. Compared to last week’s ending price of 119.525 the price of live cattle dropped by 0.2%.

The lowest price point for live cattle during the week occurred on Nov 07, 2019 when the price was at 119.

Between Oct 08, 2019 and Nov 08, 2019 the price of live cattle rose by 7.6%. At this time last month, prices for live cattle were at 110.85 and have now jumped to 119.25.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2018, the price was at 116. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 2.8%.

On Jun 29, 2018, live cattle had its worst day as far as markets go when it was at 112.05.

Live cattle’s total volume for the week was 138668. Its worst performing day came on Nov 06, 2019, when the commodity saw its weekly low of 23998.
