Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending Nov 10, 2017

The week of Nov 06, 2017 saw the price of live cattle end at 126.75. Compared to last week’s ending price of 131.75 the price of live cattle dropped by 3.8%.

The lowest price point for live cattle during the week occurred on Nov 10, 2017 when the price was at 126.75.

Between Oct 10, 2017 and Nov 10, 2017 the price of live cattle rose by 3.6%. At this time last month, prices for live cattle were at 122.375 and have now jumped to 126.75.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2016, the price was at 97.225. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 30.4%.

On Nov 07, 2016, live cattle had its worst day as far as markets go when it was at 96.275.

Live cattle’s total volume for the week was 166204. Its worst performing day came on Nov 06, 2017, when the commodity saw its weekly low of 23652.
