Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending Nov 15, 2019

The week of Nov 11, 2019 saw the price of live cattle end at 124.975. Compared to last week’s ending price of 125.025 the price of live cattle dropped by 0%.

The lowest price point for live cattle during the week occurred on Nov 13, 2019 when the price was at 124.1.

Between Oct 15, 2019 and Nov 15, 2019 the price of live cattle rose by 4.5%. At this time last month, prices for live cattle were at 119.55 and have now jumped to 124.975.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2018, the price was at 117. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 6.8%.

On Aug 31, 2018, live cattle had its worst day as far as markets go when it was at 114.15.

Live cattle’s total volume for the week was 157524. Its worst performing day came on Nov 15, 2019, when the commodity saw its weekly low of 21946.
