Live Cattle Commodity Update for the Week Ending Oct 14, 2022

The week of Oct 10, 2022 saw the price of live cattle end at 147.775. Compared to last week’s ending price of 148.05 the price of live cattle dropped by 0.2%.

The lowest price point for live cattle during the week occurred on Oct 10, 2022 when the price was at 147.

In the span of a month, the price of live cattle dropped by 1.5%. At this time last month, live cattle was at 150.05 and have since dropped to 147.775.

Live cattle has also seen an improvement from last year. At this time in 2021, the price was at 137.125. The change in prices from a year ago represents an increase of 7.8%.
