Boson LX40 Electric Utility Vehicle Wins Top 10 Award

One of the 2026 Top 10 winners of World Ag Expo’s 2026 Top 10 New Products Contest, sponsored by the F3 Initiative, is the is the Boson LX40.  The LX40 and other contest winners will be featured February 10-12, 2026, at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, California.

Entries were evaluated by a panel of judges that included farmers, ranchers, and agricultural industry professionals, ensuring products were reviewed from real-world and practical perspectives.

The Boson LX40 from Boson Motors, Inc., an all-electric utility vehicle designed with agriculture in mind. The LX40 is a one-ton, electric 4x4 machine built for use in orchards, vineyards, livestock operations, and diversified farms where clean, quiet power is a priority.

It delivers diesel-like performance without emissions, making it well-suited for enclosed areas, specialty crop operations, and farms focused on sustainability.

Powered by high-torque electric motors, the LX40 provides strong pulling power for hauling feed, tools, harvested crops, and supplies across uneven terrain. Its 20-kWh lithium iron phosphate battery supports long workdays, offering extended runtime for daily farm tasks.

With a 2,000-pound payload capacity and the ability to tow up to 2,000 pounds, the vehicle can handle chores typically assigned to traditional utility vehicles.

The LX40 also features rugged, independent suspension for smoother travel through fields and rows. An available hydraulic dump bed improves efficiency during material handling, while automation-ready capabilities open future opportunities for autonomous field support.

Designed to reduce operating costs and maintenance, the Boson LX40 represents a practical electric solution for modern agricultural operations.
