Utility Tractor Merges Modern Technology with Power and Comfort

New Holland has unveiled the latest PowerStar Series, bringing enhanced power, comfort, and efficiency to modern farming.

The series includes four models—90, 100, 110, and 120, with horsepower ranging from 86 to 117.

Farms.com met with Mike Sevick, compact tractor and specialty equipment business manager with New Holland, to learn more about this new offering.

Improved Transmission and Controls

The PowerStar 120 features a 24x24 dual command transmission with a high-low splitter. Operators can switch gears easily using buttons on the gear shift, while a declutch button allows gear shifting without using the clutch pedal.

Enhanced Loader and Hydraulics

The new front loader, designed and installed in-house, matches the tractor’s curved hood. The loader provides greater hydraulic capacity, and an integrated joystick allows for smooth control of forward and reverse shuttle, engine speed, and other functions.

Upgraded Cab Features

The VisionView cab offers improved operator comfort, including:

  • New air ride seat for a smoother ride
  • Digital instrument cluster that moves with the tilt-adjustable steering wheel
  • Super high visibility panel, allowing operators to see the raised front loader bucket while seated

The new PowerStar tractors combine modern styling, improved functionality, and advanced features.

Sevick says this new Series will be available in Q4.
