Meet the Versatile Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 Series

The Fendt 700 Vario Gen7 Series offers versatile performance with high torque, low fuel use, and smart tech like FendtONE, VarioGrip, and Fendt iD.

To learn more about this series, Farms.com met with Cornelia Riederer, a marketing product specialist with Fendt.

This tractor series is known for its versatility and performance in various farming operations.

Riederer explained that the Fendt 700 Vario Series was introduced in 2022. The Gen7 Series includes five different models. It starts with the 720 and extends up to the flagship model, the 728, which can deliver between 200 to 300 horsepower depending on the configuration.

This wide power range allows the series to meet the diverse needs of modern farms.

  • 720 Vario Gen7: 203 HP
  • 722 Vario Gen7: 223 HP
  • 724 Vario Gen7: 243 HP
  • 726 Vario Gen7: 262 HP
  • 728 Vario Gen7: 303 HP

One of the standout features of this series is the Fendt iD low-speed concept.

This advanced system provides high torque even at lower engine speeds. The benefit of this technology is that it helps reduce fuel consumption while maintaining power, which is essential for long-term operational efficiency.

Another key feature is the VarioGrip tire pressure regulation system. It helps protect the soil by adjusting tire pressure according to ground conditions, reducing compaction and preserving soil health.

Powering the 700 Vario Gen7 Series is a robust 7.5-litre engine, designed to deliver both strength and durability. Alongside the engine is a high-performance hydraulic system, making the tractor suitable for a wide range of tasks.

Whether it’s heavy-duty loader work or deep tillage, this machine is built to handle it all.

Its flexibility makes it an ideal choice for farms looking for reliable, all-purpose equipment that doesn’t compromise on performance or fuel efficiency.

Riederer gives you an overview in the video below.
