The Canadian Pulse Research Workshop showcases research innovation and connection in pulse crops

The Canadian Pulse Research Workshop (CPRW) will be hosted in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, from November 15 to 18, 2026. This will be the 13th edition of the event, bringing together participants from across Canada and the northern United States.

The three-day workshop will highlight new developments in pulse crop research and provide a platform for collaboration between researchers, agronomists, students, growers, and industry professionals. It is expected to attract a wide range of participants, including academics, extension specialists, and crop advisers.

The agenda will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, concurrent sessions, poster presentations, and optional tours. Themes will include:

  • Breeding and genomics of pulses
  • Sustainability of pulse-based cropping systems
  • Management of weeds and diseases
  • Processing, use, and applications of pulses
  • Health benefits of pulse consumption
  • The role of artificial intelligence in research and processing

Registration for the event will open on November 1, 2025. Details about registration fees, travel, accommodation, and sponsorship opportunities are available at the official website, www.cprw.ca.

Abstract submissions are now being accepted and will remain open until June 30, 2026.
