Webinar Introduces Modern Tools Shaping Digital Agriculture Today

Purdue University has announced a new opportunity for learners looking to advance their knowledge in modern agriculture. Through the Agronomy e‑Learning Academy, the university is launching a Digital Agriculture online course designed to help professionals strengthen their skills during changing and uncertain times.

The course is built for a data‑driven agricultural world and aims to support individuals seeking career growth and resilience.

The introductory webinar invites participants to learn how the updated Digital Agriculture curriculum expands beyond traditional precision agriculture topics.

While the course continues to teach core skills in precision farming, it also explores emerging tools such as data analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and improved environmental decision‑making.

These topics reflect the rapid advancements taking place across modern agriculture and highlight the increasing need for analytical and technological expertise in the field.

During the webinar, attendees will receive a full overview of the new Digital Agriculture course, including its structure, learning goals, and the ways it prepares students for technology‑focused roles in agriculture.

Faculty members will also share their perspective on how the curriculum was developed and why digital tools have become essential for farmers, agronomists, and agriculture professionals.

Their insights will help participants understand how the course applies to real‑world agricultural challenges.

The event will also feature a question‑and‑answer session with Purdue enrollment specialists. This live discussion will give participants the chance to ask about registration steps, course content, certification details, and how the program fits into different career paths.

In addition, Purdue is offering a $200 early‑bird discount, making the course more accessible for those who want to enroll early.

Individuals who are unable to attend the live webinar will still benefit, as Purdue is offering the option to register and receive a full recording after the event. This ensures that anyone interested in digital agriculture can access information at their convenience.

By combining technology, data science, and agricultural expertise, Purdue University’s Digital Agriculture course aims to equip learners with the skills needed to succeed in a rapidly evolving industry.
