Canada produces massive amounts of grain annually. The top three crops by acreage in Canada are wheat at 24.6 million acres, canola at 21 million acres and pulses (soybeans, lentils and peas) at 9.5 million acres. We export 70 per cent of our soybeans, 75 per cent of wheat and 90 per cent of canola.
