Description

The CornSoyWater app was developed by the University of Nebraska and is a useful tool for irrigation advisement for any farmers who grow soybeans or corn in the Midwest, USA. Through an innovative simulator for crop growth, this app gathers statistics on soil and takes into account weather conditions to determine the amount of stress that may be placed on soybean or corn crops. From this outcome, it will analyse whether or not your crops need irrigation, and if so, how much and by what method. Users can manage more than 50 different fields with this app, and will also receive notifications when a field is suffering from water stress. This app is free to download and is available for use on both iOS and Android operating systems.
