2023 4-H Canada Leadership Excellence Awards of Distinction Provide $80,000 to Youth Leaders

Ottawa, ON,– The 2023 recipients of the 4-H Canada Leadership Excellence Awards of Distinction (L.E.A.D.) have been selected.

The most prestigious scholarship available to 4-H members, L.E.A.D. is generously supported by long-time 4-H Canada partner, CN, and provides each of the four recipients with $20,000 toward their four-year post-secondary education. Each scholarship is connected to one of 4-H Canada’s four leadership development pillars (Community Engagement & Communications, Science & Technology, Environment & Healthy Living, and Sustainable Agriculture & Food Security). In addition to scholarship funds, recipients benefit from an ongoing mentorship with a prominent expert from their chosen field of study.
