New farm bill legislation might be on the horizon with a recent update from the House Agriculture Committee.
The Committee released legislative text February 13 for Farm Bill 2.0, officially named the Farm, Food, and National Security Act of 2026.
The initial language of the package includes policy improvements for corn growers and rural communities, but the Farm Bill 2.0 is only in its first stages and there is still much to be seen as the process continues.
