Allison Rivera Joins NGFA as Vice President, Government and Legislative Affairs

The National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) is pleased to announce that Allison Rivera will join the Association as vice president, government and legislative affairs, starting June 30.

Rivera brings extensive experience in agricultural policy and advocacy, most recently serving for nine years as Executive Director of Government Affairs at the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. In that role, she managed a robust portfolio of legislative priorities and built strong relationships on Capitol Hill, particularly with the House and Senate Agriculture Committees, the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, the Senate Commerce Committee, and the Appropriations Committees – all critical to NGFA’s policy priorities.

We also ran into a prescription issue that slowed us down, which is a good reminder that even when conditions are ideal, the little things still matter.

If you’re planting right now, it’s worth taking a few minutes to check behind your planter.
