Bayer Appoints Kacy Perry to Lead Crop Science Canada with Focus on Innovation, Sustainability, and Stronger Support for Farmers Across the Region.

Bayer’s Crop Science division has named Kacy Perry as the new Country Division Head for Crop Science Canada, with her appointment taking effect on July 1, 2026.

In her new position, Perry will oversee more than 550 employees across multiple Canadian locations while serving on Bayer’s North American Leadership Team for Crop Science.

Perry brings extensive experience to the role, having spent her entire professional career with Bayer. She currently serves as the North America Soybean Business Lead and has previously held leadership positions in marketing, sales, and product management.

Perry career includes overseeing the U.S. corn portfolio and leading the Channel Seed Professional Strategy as Brand Strategy Lead.

“I am excited to build on the momentum already underway and further strengthen our impact with Canadian farmers,” said Perry.

“Canada is increasingly recognized – both within Bayer and across the agriculture industry – as an innovation leader in seed and trait, crop protection, and digital farming. I look forward to working with the team to advance sustainable products and farming solutions that help growers succeed and drive profitable outcomes,” she added.

Raised on a farm in Windsor, Illinois, Perry earned a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Illinois, a master’s degree from Purdue University, and an MBA from Indiana University. She and her family are expected to relocate to Calgary, Alberta, later this summer.

Perry succeeds Antoine Bernet, who is leaving his role as Country Division Head for Crop Science Canada to return to France and pursue opportunities outside Bayer.

During his tenure, Bernet helped advance sustainable farming practices and played a key role in launching Bayer’s Dynamic Shared Ownership model in Canada while supporting the growth of Canadian agriculture.
