The International Association for Food Protection welcomes nominations for the IAFP Europe Food Safety Award and applications for the European Student Travel Scholarship.

For the second year, the IAFP Europe Food Safety Award will recognize an active IAFP Member from Europe for dedicated and exceptional contributions to the profession of food safety in Europe. The award consists of a plaque and €2500 monetary support, i.e., €1000 honorarium plus €1500 (maximum) travel and accommodation costs to attend the IAFP European Symposium on Food Safety, at which the awardee will be recognized. Nomination deadline for this award is Tuesday, 11 February 2025.

The European Student Travel Scholarship provides travel funding for two full-time students to attend IAFP’s European Symposium on Food Safety. This travel scholarship encourages developing scientists to participate in Association activities. Travel scholarships will be awarded to graduate and undergraduate students living in Europe and enrolled full-time at a college or university in Europe in a food safety-related degree program. Application deadline for this travel scholarship is Tuesday, 21 January 2025.
