Empowering the Future of Dairy: $1,000 Scholarships Offered by National DHIA

The National Dairy Herd Information Association (DHIA) is rolling out an exciting opportunity for aspiring students in the dairy community. High school seniors and college undergraduates have the chance to apply for $1,000 scholarships, making their educational dreams within reach. Whether you're planning to attend a technical college or a two-year or four-year university, this could be your ticket to success.

To be eligible for these prestigious scholarships, applicants must fulfill certain criteria. They should be full-time, incoming or continuing students at an accredited educational institution. Applicants must have a connection to the DHIA family.

This could be as a family member or employee of a herd on DHI test, a family member of a DHI employee, or an employee of a DHI affiliate. The DHI affiliate's membership in the National DHIA is also a prerequisite.

A diverse selection committee will meticulously assess each applicant based on various factors. From academic achievements and leadership skills to community involvement and work experience, all aspects will be taken into account. Applicant’s familiarity with and exposure to DHIA will be considered. So, if you have a passion for the dairy industry and a commitment to making a difference, this scholarship opportunity is tailor-made for you!

Mark your calendars as applications are due by Oct. 31, 2023. The chosen recipients will be unveiled at the highly anticipated 2024 National DHIA Annual Meeting, where the cream of the crop will be celebrated.
