Fall Calving Clinic

MU Extension Livestock and Dairy Specialists are offering a calving clinic for producers wanting to learn more about when and how to intervene during difficult births as well as when and how to care for newborn calves.

This workshop will give attendees hands-on practice and instruction on obstetric chain placement, calf pulling, and esophageal tube feeding using cadaver calves.

Dr. Steve Tousignant is Director of the Swine Business Unit and Technical Services Veterinarian at Vaxxinova US, with a DVM and PhD from the University of Minnesota. His experience combines epidemiology, technical services, and practical immunization strategies designed to support consistent herd performance and long-term production stability.
