Yokohama-ATG has increased the coverage amounts on its premium agricultural tire warranty and doubled the fully covered duration of its stubble guard policy, making it the most aggressive guarantor of farm tires in the industry. These warranty improvements reflect the company’s commitment to offering the best value tire available for today’s farm businesses—from design, construction, materials, and costs to service and warranty.
Alliance’s premium warranty covers its Agriflex+ line of IF/VF tires and every other steel-belted radial farm tire in its product line. The stubble protection policy applies to all tires marked and sold as stubble-guard.
“Alliance has more IF and VF products covering more machines and applications than any other brand,” says James Crouch, Yokohama Off-Highway Tires America Inc.’s National Segment Manager–Agriculture. “We needed our warranty to match our leadership role in this segment and strip away any reasons for customers to go with a more expensive product with a bigger name brand. This is especially true since we know our product will provide more value to businesses. With tight margins and uncertain economics, saving on every input is critical.”
The Alliance Agri Star II is also now covered under the premium warranty. The innovative range of R1-W radial tires has received an upgrade, increasing from the standard 7-year warranty to the new 10-year plan. Released almost 5 years ago, the Agri Star II is growing in popularity with farmers thanks to its unique dual-layer lug design (Stratified Layer Technology), polyester casing, and attention-grabbing sidewall design.
“We’re really excited about the results we’ve been seeing with the Agri Star II. It’s been outperforming our expectations in almost every metric,” explains Crouch. “We believe it is hands-down the best value farm tire on the market, and by improving its warranty coverage, we’re putting our money where our mouth is. By combining the premium warranty with the tire’s unprecedented and still unmatched 1-year Assurance pledge—which gives buyers a year to try them out—we’re making choosing the Agri Star II a no-brainer for value-conscious customers.”
